I was dabbling with some long exposure stuff while on the beach of Lake Erie the other day. It was an overcast day, but quite bright outside. – As in a previous post on this blog, while dabbling with long exposure in the middle of the night, I walked in front of the camera, stood still, then walked away, allowing a silhouette of myself to burn an image onto the sensor. Leaving the clear see through ghost look. – Same thing with the above shot. I set a 8 second exposure time and my girlfriend and I walked in front of the lens counted to three and walked away. leaving a really cool burned over exposed ghost thing happening.
Sort of a metaphor for people who are passing through in life. Definitely present but never there.
It feels like the horizon will soon devour us.
A mind flip.
